Bookshelf of my soul – Day 91, Year 2

Bookshelf of my soul - Day 91, Year 2
14/11/09

For the first time in 456 days I "fluffed up" my 365 shot by somehow managing to format the card and take another days photos over the top before I realised…!

I will say nothing more about today’s originally intended shot, other than I intend to revisit the idea at some point in the future ;)

Fortunately I take a backup shot almost every day… today’s backup (which purely by chance/luck was on a different memory card) was the book case next to my office desk, and was just a quick snap to check I had a card in the camera and charge in the battery.

This bookshelf must be one of my most photographed items, I’ve taken a shot of it with every lens I have and its been a backup shot for most days. So I suppose it’s only fair that at least one shot gets to see the light of day :D

with the exception of the row below, (which contains about 30 Beano and Dandy annuals plus a copy of some Jacques Cousteau book I got for my 21st birthday) the contents of these two shelves contain every bit of printed media that I possess.

The shelves are vaguely organised from, most read (top left), to least (bottom right).

I’ve left this at a size where you can read the titles should you have nothing better to do :D

Lightroom: crop, auto levels, reset black point, saturation, tweak curves, noise reduction, sharpen, save to JPG
